Originally from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and started attending IU in 2005. I'm a member of Slow Food Bloomington and very passionate about supporting local agriculture and home grown businesses. My research interests at IU are in construction of modern Middle Eastern cuisines and nationalist identities. I'm gradutating in December and hope to get a job in the business of living the good life.
